Eighth Annual Conference/ Seventh AGM and Conference.
A most enjoyable Day was had by all at this year's Conference.
Emma Whitlock gave us a most informative and interesting talk on 'The best course of action when dealing with injuries sustained in equine athletic performance' This was not only of interest to our equine practitioners, but to all of us who keep horses. Many thanks, Emma!
After coffee, Jean-Luc Lafitte spoke about Nutrition, the whole body whole . After asking us all to put our tongues out, he showed us a series of slides portraying mineral deficiency in the body as indicated by poor tongue health. All members agreed this would be most useful in determining other factors associated with health problems in clients. Unfortunately Jean-Luc ran out of time before he was able to talk about how the eye's iris indicates poor health. Everyone said how much they enjoyed his talk.
After an excellent buffet lunch, Julia Bee gave us a talk about Aloe Vera and it's many uses to aid the body's natural healing mechanisms. Julia also had a range of products on display to sell and for us to try out
After tea, we met up again to have our AGM.
The day went very well and many have since made contact to say how much they enjoyed the speakers and what an enjoyable day it had been. They also said how good it was to meet up with old friends and have a good sense of united membership in our association
